A lifetime shingle warranty only covers what it promises if the roof was installed to the manufacturer's standard by a certified contractor. We have held CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster status continuously for more than a decade, and Tenured Member status since 2019 — which is what lets us offer full manufacturer coverage rather than the material-only default.
